- It works by inhibiting flow of electrons through photosystem in plants exposed to light.
- It is fast-acting and non-selective herbicide.
- Kills almost all green plant tissue on contact.
- It is a very fast-acting weedicide i-e the final death of the treated plants within 1-3 days.
- It is stable in the rain even within a few minutes after application.
- Can be used pre-emergence or post-emergence or both.
