The mode of action of GOLI 56% Tablets is based on the release of phosphine gas from Aluminium phosphide when exposed to moisture. Phosphine disrupts cellular respiration in pests by inhibiting the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy currency of cells. This leads to the interruption of vital metabolic processes, resulting in the rapid mortality of pests. GOLI tablets provide a convenient and effective method for fumigating stored grains, protecting them from infestations during storage and transportation.
